Dauphin County and the surrounding areas are trauma-informed communities that realize, recognize, and respond to the needs of a healing and vibrant community.
Trauma is the result of an individual’s experience with an event that causes emotional distress that overwhelms their ability to cope, and has a lasting effect that disrupts their ability to function productively in there everyday life.

Connecting with others to:
· Share feelings and to support each group member
· Honor and respect each group member
· Create community
· Give voice to all
How does it work?
· Small groups: 10—12 people
· Meet for 1—1.5 hours
· Meet in community settings
· Facilitated by members of the ACE Committee
